| My stash contains remnants both generated and purchased, half yard amounts of sale fabrics and used clothing; I talk friends into giving me the shirt off their backs if what they are wearing solves a current design problem; I have lost critical pieces of my own wardrobe because I needed a special shade of blue; I do not buy commercial prints in great lengths unless I need to back a quilt with something special but I bought 6 yards of this leaf print with no specific project in mind because it was so rich in color and gorgeously drawn. I no longer feel guilty about the expense. |
